2. Product Properties

  • Performance: This pigment has excellent physical and chemical properties, including strong hiding power, high tinting strength, and a soft, stable color. It is alkali-resistant and shows stability in weak and dilute acids. It offers outstanding lightfastness, weather resistance, and UV protection, and it is insoluble in water and organic solvents.

3. Product Applications

  • Concrete and Building Materials: Iron oxide yellow pigment is suitable for use as a pigment or colorant in concrete precast products and building materials, directly mixed into cement. It can be used on various indoor and outdoor colored concrete surfaces, such as walls, floors, ceilings, pillars, porches, pavements, parking lots, stairs, stations, and in architectural ceramics like facing bricks, floor tiles, roof tiles, panels, terrazzo, mosaic tiles, and artificial marble.
  • Paints: Suitable for coloring and protecting various coatings, including water-based interior and exterior wall paints and powder coatings. It can also be used in oil-based paints, such as epoxy, alkyd, amino primers, putties, and topcoats, as well as in toy paints, decorative paints, furniture paints, electrophoretic paints, and enamel paints (Note: Not suitable for high-temperature products exceeding 170°C).
  • Plastics and Rubber: Suitable for coloring plastic and rubber products, such as automotive inner tubes, aircraft inner tubes, and bicycle inner tubes.
  • Other Uses: Iron oxide yellow pigment can also be used for coloring paper and leather.

4. Product Application Details

  • Performance: The product has good dispersibility, stable storage, and good compatibility with other components in the application system. It enhances the anti-rust and UV-resistant properties of paints.
  • Paint Formulation: Recommended pigment content is 20-30% for primers, 15-25% for mixed paints, and 15-25% for enamel paints (excluding extender pigments).
  • Water-Based Paints: Formulated as needed based on color.
